The testing and safe isolation of motors

By the end of this course delegates will have the skills and knowledge of:

1. Health & Safety:

- Electricity at Work Regulations

- Safe Electrical Working Practices

- Safe use of Electrical Test Equipment


2. Isolate and Test Induction Motors:-

- Isolation Procedure

- Test for Dead

- Insulation and Continuity Testing

- Disconnect/Reconnect Motors

No electrical experience required

ALSO NOTE THAT IN THE EVENT OF ANY DELEGATES NOT TURNING UP ON THE DAY, UNLESS WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED PRIOR TO THIS, YOU MAY BE CHARGED 30% OF THE COURSE FEES FOR COSTS INCURRED.

This course would be suitable for mechanical maintenance staff and other non electrical craftsmen and technicians, who wish to develop greater knowledge and skills in the electrical aspects of their job.
