Engineering Drawing Skills

Objectives

The delegate will take part in a progressive course where both practical and theoretical aspects of manufacturing drawing are addressed conforming to the standards contained in BS308.

At the end of the course the delegate will be able to;

1. Explain the basis of orthographic projection 1st and 3rd angle.

2. Draw sectional views

3. Complete assembly drawings

4. Work with Isometric and oblique

5. Draw examples of above (1-4) using the correct abbreviations,
dimensioning, tolerances, surface texture as contained in BS308.

Requirements

Delegates should have an understanding of engineering principles, or have some background/experience in engineering or design.

Notes

A sandwich lunch will be provided.
