Objectives

This course covers the changes made to the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, introduced under the 1st Amendment  which take effect from January 2012 and includes the following:

Section 444 - Measures against electromagnetic disturbances

Section 534 - Devices for protection against overvoltage (surge protection) 

Section 710 - Medical locations

Section 729 - Operating or maintenance gangways

Appendix 6 - Model forms for certification and reporting 

Requirements

This course is designed for delegates who have completed the City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition IEE  regulations course before the 1st  Amendment was published.

Notes

1. Each candidate will require a copy of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations(Green Book) for the course and for the test
EKGTA can provide this at the discounted price of £62. Please request a copy of the regulations in the comments box when booking the course.

2. A non programmable calculator is required by each candidate.

3. A sandwich lunch will be provided.

4. The course terminates with a 0.5 hour multiple choice, open book test. Successful delegates will be awarded an EKGTA/EAL certificate.
