Objectives
This course has been designed to enable the participant to:
1. Describe their responsibility under the HSW Act
2. Describe the operators responsibility under the HSW Act
3. Discuss the Approved Code of Practice
4. Recognise safely factors and correct operating procedures
During the course participants will learn about:
Safe operating practices
Safe working load
Load/weight assessment
The Health & Safety At Work Act
The Approved Code of Practice
Training - what the operator goes through
Requirements
Delegates may have a working knowledge of FLTs
Notes
This course is designed for the person whose duty is to supervise fork lift truck operators. Courses will be limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
