Basic Instructional Techniques (Training the Trainer Module 2)

Objectives

The delegate will take part in a training programme which provides the knowledge and skills associated with the complete training cycle from identifying needs to review and evaluation.

By the end of the module delegates will be able to:

(In addition to aims of three day event)
1. Design effective training programmes

2. Provide guidance and support to learners

3. Design a suitable assessment process

4. Design questionnaires and other feedback mechanisms

5. Carry out training review and evaluation

6. Provide counseling support to learners

Requirements

During the course the delegates will be required to deliver a unit of training lasting around 30 minutes.

1. Wire a 13 Amp Plug.
2. Replace the seals on a pneumatic valve
3. The safety precautions to be taken when operating a lath.
4. An overview of your Company.

EKGTA will provide all the equipment required for the above subjects. If delegates would prefer to deliver a subject of their own choice the subjects must be of similar complexity, however you would have to bring all the equipment necessary to teach the task plus enough equipment for the other students.

A further training session facts/skills will be delivered by the delegate. This will be video taped.

Notes

This course is specifically designed for the person who will be involve in training in as a full time role. It covers all areas of training from the Analysis of Training Needs to the Evaluation of the Training Programme.

A sandwich lunch will be provided.
