Objectives
The delegate will take part in a training programme which provides the knowledge and skills required to be able to analyse a person's knowledge, qualifications, training, experience and competence in order to produce an accurate training needs analysis. By the end of the module delegates will be able to:
1. Describe their role and responsibility for training and development
2. Understand the training cycle
3. Explain triggers for analysis
4. Conduct a structured interview to build an accurate picture of the trainee's existing competencies
5. Determine training needs using suitable methods
6. Complete a training needs analysis
