Objectives
This course is designed for staff who work in teams or groups, or who will do so in the near future.
The course will aim to give delegates an understanding of the need to build teams, and then to continue working to keep it focussed and effective.
Exact content and duration will be agreed prior to commencement of the course.
The course will enable to delegate to build the knowledge and skills to:
1. Identify what makes individuals perform
2. Understand the mechanics of how a team works
3. Recognise the benefits of team working
4. Identify what makes a team successful.
5. Be aware of the dangers of building teams
6. Identify and select the individuals to make up a team.
7. Manage a team and it's individual members.
8. Define the aims of a team.
9. Provide leadership within a team environment.
10. Use the success yardstick
Requirements
Six Minimum and Twelve Maximum Participants required.
Notes
All training will be carried out by specialist staff through individual coaching, lectures, and practical exercises.
This course requires a minimum of 3 candidates to run.
