Objectives
This course is designed for staff who may be involved in the presentation or communication of information within the company, and who have little or no experience of the techniques for preparation, planning and execution of the presentation.
The course will aim to give delegates the confidence to make presentations in front an audience in the workplace. Exact content and duration will be agreed prior to commencement of the course.
The course will enable to delegate to build the knowledge and skills to:
1. Understand barriers to communication and using the voice as a tool
2. Set clear objectives for the presentation.
3. Develop a presentation structure which will effectively meet the objectives.
4. Select and order material suitable to aims
5. Identify and use techniques which maximise the impact of the presentation.
6. Preparing and using visual aids
7. Techniques for holding the attention of the audience.
8. Develop their level of ability in presentations
The course will be based around a combination of lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises to ensure the delegates practice and develop their skills during the training course.
Requirements
Delegates should be aware that they will be expected to make presentations in front of other delegates and video recording equipment.
Notes
All training will be carried out by specialist staff through individual coaching, lectures, and practical exercises.
This course requires a minimum of 3 delegates to run.
A reduced rate may apply if a group booking is made.
