Modern Apprenticeship in Management

Objectives
The aim of this programme is to provide staff with a progressive development path over a period of time that will provide a suitable combination of training, on the job development, monitoring and assessment of activities and performance, leading to vocational competence and where applicable to vocational certification.

Requirements
The Modern Apprenticeship in Management is a programme designed to develop occupational competence in the Supervisory / Management field. The programme is open to all and may attract funding through the Skillseekers Initiative.
Timetable. 10 x 3 hour training sessions plus on the job development to fit in with candidates work commitments

Notes
The Modern Apprenticeship consists of the following elements;

Introductory Certificate in Management by EKGTA (Underpinning Knowledge)
SVQ Level 3 (Management) plus 2 additional units
Core Skills at intermediate 2 (Communication, Numeracy, IT, Problem Solving & Working with Others)
