Objectives
This course is designed to provide delegates with the skills required to create, edit and use workbooks and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
The course will enable to delegate to build the knowledge and skills to:
1. Open, close and save spreadsheets
2. Manage files
3. Create a blank work book
4. Enter simple text and numerical values
5. Use AutoSUM to make calculations and totals
6. Use Excel formulae eg SUM, MIN, MAX, AVERAGE
7. Use headings and formatting for presentation
8. Use borders, lines, fills and shading to improve presentation
9. Use hyperlinks and cross referencing
10. Print worksheets
11. Name and re-arrange the sheets in a workbook
Requirements
Delegates would benefit from some previous keyboard or PC skills, but no previous knowledge of Excel is required.
Notes
All training will be carried out by specialist staff through individual coaching, lectures, demonstration and practical experience using Microsoft Workstations. A reduced rate may apply if a longer course is booked, perhaps involving two or more levels of tuition.
A cold buffet lunch is provided.
