Objectives

This training course is intended for Autodesk Inventor users who need to access their design files from Autodesk Vault. It is an introduction course to Vault and focuses on the Autodesk Vault’s features for managing files and projects with Autodesk Inventor from a user’s perspective. Hands-on exercises are included to reinforce how to manage the design workflow process using Autodesk Vault. Delegates are taught how to locate, view, modify, create, and reuse files.
 
 By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
  • Describe Autodesk Vault Features
  • Use Vault Workflow
  • Use Autodesk Vault Explorer
  • Organise Inventor, Project and Library Files in the Vault
  • Search the Vault
  • Work with non-CAD Files in the Vault
  • Work with Inventor Files in the Vault
  • Customise the User Interface
  • File Management and Reusing Design Data

1. Vault Data Management for Inventor Users introduces Autodesk Vault to Inventor Users.  Autodesk Vault is the foundation module of Autodesk’s data management solution, enabling you to consolidate and organise all product information securely for easy reference, sharing, and reuse purposes. 

2. All training will be carried out by specialist staff, through individual coaching, lectures, demonstration and practical experience using AutoCAD Workstations and Official AutoDesk courseware and exercise CD-ROMs

3. A sandwich lunch will be provided.
