Objectives
This course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of relational database building, and the built in tools and facilities which an make Access a powerful database system.
The course will enable to delegate to build the knowledge and skills to:
1. Navigate within the application
2. Understand database terminology
3. Validate data
4. Create, edit and use macros
5. Create, edit and use complex queries
6. Understand event procedures
7. Design reports using sorting and groups
8. Use expressions in reports
9. Build an application
10. Use advanced printing techniques
Requirements
Delegates must be IT literate and would benefit from some previous experience or knowledge of databases, however it would be preferred if the user has worked Access previously.
Notes
All training will be carried out by specialist staff through individual coaching, lectures, demonstration and practical experience using Microsoft Workstations. A reduced rate may apply if a longer course is booked, perhaps involving two or more levels of tuition.
A cold buffet lunch is provided.
