AutoCAD Essentials

Objectives

(All Revisions upto and including 2009, inc LT Versions are available)
This course is designed to introduce delegates to the advanced features of AutoCAD, understand and use productively, the new features and improvements offered by AutoCAD.

By the end of the course the delegate will be able to:

1. Create 2D drawings
2. Create and using template drawings
3. Control the display
4. Draw objects
5. Extract drawing information
6. Use the editing commands
7. Annotate drawings
8. Dimension drawings
9. Manage content
10. Plot and print
11. Use advanced 3D features and external references

Requirements

Delegates do not require previous CAD experience, but some technical skills would be advantageous

EKGTA is an accredited Autodesk approved centre

Notes

1. All training will be carried out by specialist staff, through individual coaching, lectures, demonstration and practical experience using AutoCAD Workstations and Official AutoDesk courseware and exercise CD-ROMs

2. Objective No:11 will not be included in LT Version of course.

3. A sandwich lunch will be provided.

4. A 4th day may be available if required.
